Becky’s Fund Welcomes Becca

Hi there! My name is Becca Fritz, and I’m a rising college senior at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, IN. I am pursuing a double major in Gender Studies and Neuroscience, and I’m originally from Columbia, MD. I am excited to intern with Becky’s Fund this summer!

My college education is centered around my passion for mental health issues, specifically as they relate to people marginalized by the categories of gender and race. I came to Becky’s Fund because domestic violence is an issue often organized by gender and race, with serious implications for the mental health and wellness of survivors. I was drawn to the mission of Becky’s Fund and its commitment to combating intimate partner violence at its roots through open and honest discussions about gender and relationships, and I am honored to be able to work alongside the inspiring and dedicated staff at Becky’s Fund.

I am looking forward to spending the summer with Becky’s Fund and gaining experience in the non-profit sector, especially with an organization that tackles such an important issue. After graduation, I hope to explore job opportunities similar to my work with Becky’s Fund, and I am currently considering graduate programs in clinical psychology.
